Ideate: Blog Post 4

When we collated all our data, we started to plan out what each of us were going to do for the composition. We were told that the Echo walk had to be 10 minutes long so as a group we decided to go into smaller groups and set one group to make a small composition about the past, another for the present and lastly the future and then we would stitch the mini compositions into one big, long composition. Me and Luke went away and though it would be a promising idea to make a podcast in between to past and future composition. However, we thought it would be too short to make a podcast because it had to be between 2-3 minutes, in the end we scrapped the idea, we then had a band come in and we asked them if we could record an unreleased song of theirs and they allowed us to use it, the song we recorded is going to be called ‘Interesting Times’. Finally, after mixing the song me and the group got together and smoothly faded them together, so they are not jumping from one song to another.
