The Design Thinking Process Of My Sound Walk: Blog Post 1

In this Blog I will be discussing how me, and my group used the design thinking process to implement a composition into an app called Echoes, this app allows you to visit landmarks with an ambient soundscape while you look around. Now you must be thinking. What is the design thinking process? The DTP for short is not as easy as it says, you must produce an idea, design the idea, and then reflect on that process. If you do not like it, then you must go back and rethink the idea with the knowledge you already have. Which makes the complete process non-linear. You must also think about what users want from the product and if you are able to give said users what they want, which means you must assume within your group what the target audience wants and then challenge each other's assumptions and see if they are realistic. When the group first came together, we were assigned ‘The Visions of the Future’ this could be several different things because we can never know what will happen in the future, so for the first part of this blog I will be discussing a few different ideas we came up with and what we decided to go for based on our overall research.
